PAY & HOURS

Pay is competitive and varies according to the role, skill level required and location.

Hours tend to vary according to the venue, weather, events and holidays so work patterns will be something you will need to discuss if you are invited for interview

Combine your passion for sports with your talent for marketing and communications! Will to Win is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing programme to drive sales and participation across its London-based sports centres.

Reporting to the Company Directors, the Marketing & Communications Manager position will head all internal and external marketing activities across Will to Win, including digital & social media management, email communications and traditional marketing channels. The position requires flexible working hours (occasional evening/weekend work may be required) and travel to all London centres and various community events, as needed.

Candidates must have excellent communication and writing skills, knowledge of current and emerging marketing channels, exemplary customer service skills and the ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team.  Candidates must also be able to demonstrate their experience in developing and delivering sound marketing plans that incorporate digital and social media strategies. Good PC skills and experience navigating GDPR are essential, as are the ability to oversee budgets, manage customer databases and exploit sales opportunities. Although not required, previous knowledge and/or experience in the sports & leisure industry is strongly preferred.

We are looking for a well-rounded and a practical person. Typical responsibilities of the job include:

  • promoting the Centre to increase usage
  • maintaining high levels of customer care
  • recruiting, training and supervising staff, including managing staff rotas
  • carrying out health and safety checks and other housekeeping duties
  • preparing and checking budgets and generating income
  • cashing-up and keeping stock records
  • purchasing equipment and supplies
  • dealing with enquiries, complaints and emergencies
  • preparing and maintaining statistical and financial records

This is a seasonal role for six months during our busy summer months, with the possibility of it becoming a permanent role subject to performance. We are looking for people who are passionate about food and customer service. Barista training would be an advantage.

Duties include:

  • To duty coordinate the entire café operation.
  • To produce weekly financial reports.
  • To assist in the preparation and operation of events and activities.
  • Serving food and drinks to a wide range of customers with a smile.
  • Following WTW food Safety Policies to ensure high hygiene standards.

Café Supervisor may also be required to help on the sport desk where needed.

Must be flexible to work varying shifts, across any five days in seven and have experience in working in high volume, professional establishments in a customer facing role.

This role is a great opportunity for those looking for an entry level position in the sports industry. Background in sports management would be a bonus.

Duties include:

Promoting the sports programme for adults and children, booking courts, pitches and courses, dealing with customer queries in person, via phone and/or e-mails. Centre Assistants will also be required to serve refreshments if required. Other duties include managing cardholder records, helping to maintain the database, selling of sports goods and liaising with sports coaches to ensure the smooth running of the service.

Must be flexible to work varying shifts, across any five days in seven and have experience in working in high volume, professional establishments in a customer facing role.

Good communication skills and good command of English, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, lively personality and a flexible manner. The candidate should be smart, presentable and approachable and have excellent time management.

Community Tennis Development Coach

Job Title: Community Tennis Development Coach – Will to Win

Summary Description: Will to Win is recruiting for a Community Tennis Development Coach. The role will work across all our centre locations and will require the coach to deliver after school programmes in these communities.
The role would involve administration work at £10 per hour and £25-£40 an hour for off-site coaching after school. This will be on a self-employed, part time basis (around 20 hours per week), with the potential to develop into a full time position.

Job Specification:
Background to the Organisation: Will to Win Ltd is the leading and largest private provider of public tennis in the UK, developing and managing facilities and programs for the benefit of tennis and the local community at many venues across London – with over 100 courts and 35 coaches. WTW was awarded Middlesex Club of the Year and works closely with the LTA and councils developing public tennis programmes and facilities.
We are committed to working with teams of professionally qualified coaches and staff members to provide teaching to all ages and abilities. We deliver community tennis through schools programs, a full range of adult and children’s courses, tournaments, teams, group and individual coaching.

Essential personal skills and qualities:

  • Minimum LTA Level 2 Coach Qualification or equivalent
