There are a variety of ways for juniors to get involved in football at Hyde Park:

We provide football for boys and girls of mixed abilities.

SPORT CAMP ESSENTIALS FOR YOUR CHILD:

IMPORTANT: Our centres are now CASHLESS.

Lunch & Drink – Parents must provide their children with a packed lunch and drinks / full water bottle. Alternatively parents can pre-order and pay for a daily lunch for their child, either when making their online booking or at the centre by credit card. We regret we cannot accept cash.

Their own racket – we are not hiring any equipment at present. Rackets can be purchased at the Centre. If you wish to purchase a racket, we strongly recommend you visit the Centre before the first day to avoid any delay.

Appropriate outdoor clothing – footwear with full support & grip, thin removable layers and weather protection (e.g. sunblock). If you are unsure, please contact the Centre before your booking.

Medication – if your child has medication they must bring, please ensure the coach is made aware. Please note we are not permitted to administer any medication. If your child cannot administer their own medication, please speak to the Centre before attending to see how we can assist.

Your Child’s Wellbeing

The health and wellbeing of your child is paramount while on our holiday camps. As such, it is very important that your child has food and drink during their stay with us. Your child can bring their own packed lunch, or for your convenience we offer a pre-paid lunch option for £6.

Lunch consists of a choice of meat or vegetarian sandwich, a snack item, a piece of fruit and a bottle of water.

If your child attends a day camp without food and drink (and you have failed to pay for a pre-paid lunch) we will follow the following process:

  1. Contact you as the parent/guardian to take an immediate payment over the phone for the lunch option.
  2. If we cannot contact you, for any reason, we will provide the child with a basic lunch consisting of bottled water, a piece of fruit and a sandwich.
  3. If your attends again without adequate lunch provision we reserve the right to remove your child from the activity on welfare grounds, and to offer their place to another child on our waiting list.
  4. By continuing to purchase the holiday camp, you agree with the above terms and conditions and will ensure provisions for lunch is arranged prior to your child attending.

JUNIOR FOOTBALL CAMPS

Ages: 5 – 12 years old
Duration: 10am – 12pm
Length: 3 – 5 days
Pro-rata day rate available

Run by FA Qualified coaches (from our partner First Touch) Junior Football Camps take place on the Grass Pitches. All abilities and ages from 5 – 12 are welcome, with the chance to make new friends and improve as players.

  • Groups are split into age groups on the day
  • Each 2 hour day of camp focuses on a dedicated topic
  • Dribbling, turning & skills, passing & receiving, shooting, and positioning
  • Five-day camps end with a tournament day and matches to finish

JUNIOR MULTI-SPORT CAMPS

Ages: 5 – 12 years old
Duration: 9am – 2pm
Length: 3 – 5 days
Pro-rata day rate available

Run by qualified coaches in tennis, football and padel (from our partner First Touch) Junior Tennis & Multi-Sport camps take place on the Tennis/Padel Courts and AstroTurf. They are great chance to build confidence and try out a number of sports all within one camp!

A regular camp day schedule runs as follows:

  • Groups are split into age groups on the day
  • 9am – 10am – Mixed-sports from: Cricket , handball, footgolf or athletics
  • 10am – 11am – Football – with drills in passing, control, shooting and positioning
  • 11am – 12pm – Lunch (Packed Lunch option available at additional cost)
  • 12am – 1pm – Tennis or Padel: Learn the basics of forehand, backhand, serve and match play
  • 1pm – 2pm – Choice of mixed-sports chosen by the group(s). E.g. a football match

*Rackets not available for hire – please bring your own or purchase at reception

We recommend that you take advantage of our preferential weekly rate and allow your child to develop their tennis skills in a progressive way. However we also offer a daily booking option on our camps which you can choose when you start the booking process below.

JUNIOR FOOTBALL COURSES

Our Junior football courses are a great way to see your football skills improve week over week. Courses run over multiple weeks and focus on all aspects of the game, from ball skills & shooting to in-game strategy. Will to Win courses run Tuesdays & Saturdays and are open to all Boys & Girls age 3-12. All ability & experience levels are welcome!
