Venue Hire - Information (Hyde Park)

April to September 2008

Events / functions are where part of the centre facility is booked for a period of time for that particular function.
The facilities are:

  1. high quality tennis facilities (accredited by the Lawn Tennis Association);
  2. the bowling green (or an individual rink)
  3. challenging and well maintained putting course Gardens

It is important to remember that Hyde Park is a public area and although we can monitor a certain amount of privacy within the Tennis Centre during your event we are unable to make it entirely exclusive.  We will however endeavor to make sure your guests are not disturbed and no strangers join your party!
The general public will be made aware of the function and will be requested to keep away from the function.
 

 

Times are as follows:

Monday to Sunday. Set up from 08h00 and clear up by 23h30.

Event / Function Start from 10h00, ending up by 22h00.
The number of guests may not exceed 250 people.
Facility Hire charges are applicable.
The figures shown below are a guideline, subject to change at any time and do not include VAT.

Tennis courts

Off peak use of tennis courts up to 3 £20 per courts per hour.
Peak (after 5pm and weekends) by arrangement@ £20 pcph

Mini Tennis Courts

Off peak use of tennis courts up to 2 £15 per courts per hour.
Peak (after 5pm and weekends) by arrangement@ £15 pcph

Putting

£5.00 per person

Bowls

£6.00 per person
Bowling booking fee £50 if booked more than 7 days in advance

Event / tournament organiser

£50 per hour per coach

Marquee

A wide selection of sizes and accessories

It is possible to hire the facility for a corporate / special event day by arrangement – including complete use of the facility (tennis-bowls-putting- marquee).
