Tounrnament and competition are vital to tennis. It's where players put their practice under pressure in the real game. Tournament events provide opportunties to play in friendly matches and an excuse to enjoy the buzz and atmosphere generated by a crowd. Fun to play, competition also provides a means to measure player development.
